Sometimes users run out of time before they get a production license. While there's no conversion from eval to production, they'd like to know if they need to evacuate or backup data from OTS with expired evaluation license.
For example, if OTS with expired eval license can't be written to, that's still OK if read access is possible. They could power the VM back on once they get a production OTS ready, and copy the data over.
