Low latency on the filer, but high latency on VM guest

On a NFS datastore, we only see <5ms latency, but on VM guest, 80ms+ latency. This seems not a filer issue to me.

However, what steps I should take to investigate and find out the root cause? eith on the filer side, VMware side, or both?
