The Spark disk needs to be added to the new RAID group of AGGR, but its status is zeroing. Can the disk be added to AGGR in its current state? Will it have an impact on aggr?
The image shows the current disk status and the status added to aggr.
disk 0d.04.0,0d.04.1,0d.04.2 is zeroing.

Hi all,
I have created a new volume via ontap and want to mount it using NFS on a Ubuntu Linux VM (hosted on VMWare)
Within the volume i have enabled the NFS option and created an export policy where i have specified the VM IP and given read/write permissions to all
However, I keep getting access denied when running the mount command. I can ping the NetApp from the VM so not sure what else to try?

I just enabled Automatic Updates on all of our clusters except one, for which the Automatic Updates tile doesn't appear in System Manager. Any idea as to why that would be? This is an OnTAP Select instance. Obviously the firmware part wouldn't apply but the system files part would potentially apply.

When I upgraded the ONTAP version, the aggregation failed after "Giveback". Later, I learned that it was because there were connected sessions in CIFS. After running storage failover giveback-ofnode node_name - overline-vetoes true, the toes are successfully pooled and returned. However, the system prompts that this command will cause data loss.
How can I avoid aggregation failure in the next upgrade?

We are trying to connect FAS8020 running Ontap 9.8 P21 to OpenVMS OS (8.4 L3). Storage is configured to run FC.
Switches show both initiators and targets logged in to fabric.
On the OpenVMS i can see NetApp ports.
When scanning channels no disks come back or at least information about them to be mounted.

After some online search most likely there is issue with lun ID, or some kind of ID is missing.
